Time Zone Experiences 2009/10

What time is it in California when it's GMT1500? What about GMT 0000? Or, GMT 2300? Do you even know what GMT stands for? 5th Grade will be exploring time and time zones in the online collaborative Time Zone Experiences project. Come along with them on their adventures in time! In California it is GMT-8 when we are not on daylight savings time (Pacific Standard Time) and GMT-7 when we are on daylight savings time (Pacific Daylight Time).The time portion of this project was completed using Pacific Standard Time.

After completing the time portion of the project, 5th grade created podcasts & pictures about some of the months of the year at St. Martin's and in California. In addition to writing the podcast script and recording it using Audacity, each student also created original music for their podcast on the Mybytes site.
